I had to make a chicken summer salad for school. Only an idiot like me would pick a recipe where I don’t know how to cook the main ingredient, thank you so much for this video ^.^

i recomeend anyone making this recipy just marinated it for about 30 mins or so because if you marinated it for longer than thant you will start to cook the meat and draw out the mositer frm the chicken due to the salt and lemon juice. so this is why it can become tough also in y opinion i prefer chicken thighs with this recipy because it has more flavor i think. but breasts are a healthier option

@freedom4mic It sounds like it has been overcooked. Remember when you pull it off the heat, it continues to “cook” due to the residual heat in the meat. Sorry this happened, but next time pull it off as soon as the juices run clear – you have to cook chicken thoroughly and the recommended temp is 170 which will occur if you cook it to 165, tent it lightly with foil and let it rest a few minutes. Hope this helps. Rita from AboutEating . com

Looks great! I like to put chicken breast in a ziplock bag and pound it down a little before applying the marinade/rub. It makes the final product very tender and the seasonings get more evenly distributed throughout the meat…Thanks for the video!
