@psychumar She said 1 cup of sugar to 1/2 a cup of water. A pinch of cardamom powder, a pinch of Saffron, a teaspoon of lemon juice. Hope this helps.
@ayesha10ful For the syrup? It’s cardamom powder. IT’s a common seed used in indian/arabic cuisine. You can find it in pods or in powder.
@smile123alot you can get yeast in any grocery stores, just look in the bakery/flour/sugar aisle. Also you may ask a near by bakery shop if they have for sale. And yes yeast is necessary to make the batter raise. Thus why she said we have to wait an hour for it to raise, to make them nice and crispy. Hope this helps.
