Summer Salad Recipes * Easy Healthy Recipes * Green Salad Recipes * Chopped Salad Recipes * ❤ Tossed Salad Recipe made with Mixed Veggies plus a delicious Low Calorie Salad Dressing Recipe ❤ * I ngredients * For the DRESSING: — 3 Tomatoes — 1-2 Oranges — 1 Avocado — 2 cloves of Garlic For the SALAD: — 1 head of Romaine Lettuce — 2 Red Peppers — 2-4Carrots (unpeeled if organic, or peeled if inorganic) — 1-2 Cucumbers (unpeeled if organic, or peeled if inorganic) * P reparation * — 1) To make the dressing, roughly chop the tomatoes, and toss into your Vita-Mix blender, or other high-powered blender of your choice. bit.ly or bit.ly — 2) Use a manual citrus juicer or a citrus hand juicer to squeeze the juice of the orange into the Vitamix as well. — 3) Roughly chop the avocado and toss into your Vitamix along with the 2 cloves of garlic, and blend until desired consistency is reached. — 4) Roughly slice the romaine lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces and toss into a serving bowl. Or, another method is to tear the leaves by hand into smaller pieces. (OR, you could even serve the leaves whole and intact and serve with the dressing as a dip!) — 5) Cut the centers out of the red peppers, then slice the red peppers, carrots & cucumbers all into bite-sized chunks, and add to your salad. — 6) Drizzle dressing over salad or offer it on the side…your lunch or dinner is now served; enjoy! * I nspiration * — I am not anti- superfood or anti- supplement, I just find that I don’t

Looking at the info bar more now and i have to say that Krista is doing an absolutely sterling job with the recipes and inspiration.
Thanks Dan and Krista, you are saving my life. On the less dramatic side i am feeling the inspiration from the veggies now. My stomach doesn’t want yellow fatty foods. Yeah, i am feeling righteous but mix that with humility and it just feels so right you know?
Can’t wait for the website too.

@hipretty “high maintenance” has gotten to be such a nasty putdown…at one time men were proud to take good care of their women…and ladies were allowed to BE women, in all their Chanel lipstick/Dior dress kind of way….I think some ppls way of thinking neglecting self nurture and personal style is a virtuous “low maintenance” look is seriously sad….

@sherribailey75 I think she proved you don’t have to have granite countertops, a Viking stove or a Sub-Zero refrigerator to eat healthy and well. Many more people have a kitchen like this than the glamour kitchens you see on tv.

@BunnyJLove This was her old apartment before her career really started to take off. She lived in an expensive part of town, and you don’t get much for the money there. Her new kitchen is much nicer and you can see it in Bethenny Ever After on Bravo.

People with all those stupid negative remarks are jeoulous, shallow and ignorant, Bethanny is an awsome girl, I really like her attitude and everything she does. I don’t know why when people see other person doing well decide to make negative comments about them, specially when you don’t know the person at all. To me is just simply jeolousy.

NATURAL FAT is NOT unhealthy….raw EV coconut oil, EV olive oil, butter, egg yolks, all have many essential compounds your body needs, especially cholesterol and saturated fats. Just look at Bethenny she looks like a corpse. Who the hell wants to look like a skeleton! I eat more NATURAL FATS now than I ever did when I ate all the so called healthy processed fats I did when I was very overweight. I’m at 105 and I eat LOTS of natural fats and proteins, and I don’t look like skeletore.

I love her ideas!!! I have constantly struggled with my weight and am using her tips and recips to try and LOSE 60 LBS!! I can realte to some of the issues with her parents, she inspires me to work hard and trust in the one you LOVE!!!

I find the hardest thing for me when dieting is getting enough nutrition. Smaller portions work, but I’m left hungry and less food= less nutrition. I use nutritional supplements now and eat healthy, full meals.I got started at ryansnutrition com and have my appetite under control.

this is not healthy. how about substituting real chicken with seitan or tempeh! already you’re eliminating cholesterol intake.
and on a side note, what’s with the ghetto kitchen? couldn’t they have filmed this in a nicer kitchen? bad kitchen, bad lighting, bad food. eek.

@loladelrio I hate to say it, but are you seriously that dense? She never says that the food she’s preparing is “fine dining”, in fact she mentions that it’s NOT. She’s showing the rest of us how easy it is to throw together easy recipes to eat healthily with things you already have in the kitchen. And as for your “the best thing she can make for dinner is reservations!” jab – good one. You’re quite the comedian. <— sarcasm.

She never claims it is fine dining. She’s says it’s something quick and healthy to grab on the go. A LOT better than fast food. Keep it up :)
